$900 Million Field Services Contract Awarded to Fidelity Technologies

READING, PA. – March 22, 2011 – Fidelity Technologies Corporation today announced their Field Services Business Unit is one of eight companies chosen to bid on individual task orders under the Fielded Training Systems Support III (FTSS III) multiple award contract (MAC) vehicle. The Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract has an ordering period of five years, plus three one-year options (if exercised) with a ceiling estimate of $900 million.

Fidelity has provided contractor services to Naval Air Warfare Center Training Systems Division (NAWCTSD) under two predecessor FTSS I and FTSS II contracts dating back to 2000 and has been successful in winning a number of task orders during the past 10 years. According to Fidelity President David Gulati, “The value of combined contracts since 2000 has exceeded $175 million and has helped to establish our Field Services division as a leader in providing quality contractor operation, maintenance and logistics support services.”

During 2011, under the FTSS III contract, Fidelity will bid on task orders (including Aviation, Surface, Undersea and Cross Warfare FTSS service efforts) for: Marine Corps Aircrew Training Systems (MCATS), Contractor Instructor Services Pacific (CISPAC), Contractor Instructor Services Atlantic (CISLANT), Contractor Maintenance of Simulators (COMS) and Contract Instruction Services (CIS) for the F-18 platform. The task orders have a combined value of approximately $50 million per year over a five year term.

An extensive prequalification process, centering upon capabilities to support the scope of the contract, demonstrating best value and understanding the government’s intended strategy and requirements, was instrumental to Fidelity establishing a proven track record with the FTSS MAC vehicle.
