Visual Engineer

Fidelity is looking for a full-time senior engineer with at least 10 years experience in design, development, and integration of PC-based Image Generation (IG) software.  The ideal candidate will have demonstrated experience in IG software development; integrating the IG with other system modules; selecting, modifying, and/or developing tools for creation of visual databases for the IG; and conducting integration and test to produce complex computer-based training systems involving a common architecture and modular approach. 

The ideal candidate will have experience with tools such as MultiGen Creator, 3D Studio Max, and Terra Vista modeling tools, as well as demonstrated experience in C++ software development. The candidate must be a U.S. citizen. Preferred location is near Reading, Pennsylvania, although other arrangements will be considered.

Inside Sales
Our Reading, PA headquarters requires an addition to our staff to perform the following duties:

• Proactively follow-up with customer on opportunities for products that have potential, based on knowledge of target market segment and application.

• Work closely with the Marketing Department to develop new business, from program identification through contract award.

• Provide customer liaison during the marketing stage to obtain information, update project status, and provide insight for a complete submission.

• Generate professional quote proposals that address all customer requirements, and develop best strategy for winning business.

• Conduct Rapid Value Assessments for new business ideas identifying project scope, value propositions, value chain, external evaluations, competitive analysis, technical requirements, market size, price recommendations, and time to market.

• Ensure that new business solicitations are properly screened, logged, and processed according to established procedures.

• Support the development and maintenance of intelligence files on prospective customers and competitors.

• Recommend and arrange for representation at appropriate conferences and trade show venues.

• Provide input for marketing plans and budgets

• Travel as necessary.

Position Requirements

Qualifications - Essential:

• 5+ years experience in Inside/Outside Sales within the electronic components industry.

• In-depth knowledge of manufacturing processes and industry.

• MUST have demonstrated sales experience in the areas of electro-mechanical assemblies, PCBs, CCAs, and cable and wiring harnesses.

• Technical degree and/or experience preferred.

• The ideal candidate should possess a technical aptitude and understand pricing strategies, sales objectives, marketing, and business management processes.

• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret bids and quotes, technical procedures, and government documents and regulations.

• Ability to plan and strategize bidding efforts, strategy and vision development critical.

Minimum Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business or equivalent degree.

• Strong PC skills including Microsoft Office.

• Excellent organizational, written, and verbal communication skills required as well as the ability to perform comfortably in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented work environment.

• Firm Fixed Price (FFP) pricing experience.

• Up to 25% travel required.

Compensation: $30,000 - $35,000 + Competitive Bonus

Software Technical Support
Fidelity Technologies Corporation is seeking an individual to provide software technical support for three (3) computer systems in Cairo, Egypt. The successful candidate must have a solid background and understanding of Visual Basic to include troubleshooting, analysis and programming. Responsibilities will include monitoring each system for optimal performance, troubleshooting problems identified by the customer, reporting problems to the home company, installing customized software, programming system enhancements, informal on-the-job training and maintaining a working relationship that ensures adequate response to customer needs. A background in air traffic control or aviation would be helpful but is not mandatory. A current, valid U.S. passport is required. The successful candidate will be required to pass drug and HIV blood testing. This is a minimum one (1) year assignment to Cairo, Egypt with the possibility of extension.  During the assignment you will be authorized to return to the U.S. quarterly. To qualify for this assignment you must show evidence that you are a self-starter capable of working without daily guidance and supervision.
