FIDELITY CAPTURES EA-6B PROWLER AIRCRAFT TRAINER CONTRACT

Fidelity Technologies Corporation’s Field Services unit was awarded a task order by the U.S. Navy NAVAIR ORLANDO division to provide Contractor Operation and Maintenance (COMS) services for the EA-6B (Prowler) aircraft training systems located at Whidbey Island, WA and MCAS Cherry Point, NC. Valued at $9.5 million over five years, this contract involves operation and maintenance of EA-6B flight and tactics trainers, including flight simulators with six-degree freedom-of-motion bases and visual systems.

In addition, Fidelity technicians will operate and maintain an electronic warfare radio frequency emitter used to simulate “threat radar”. The simulated threat emitter provides “real-world” training for U.S. Navy and Marine Corps EA-6B flight crews to accomplish their primary mission – – to jam and destroy hostile radar systems to remove Ground-to-Air threats.

Under this task order, Fidelity will additionally provide corporate management and on-site staffing for supply support, access control, and facilities maintenance services. The program will be under the direction of Paul Patterson, senior program manager for Fidelity Technologies Corporation. Patterson and his Field Services team are looking forward to providing the EA-6B community with the same exemplary level of service for which they are renowned on other COMS contracts.
