Lockheed Martin executives presented Fidelity Technologies Corporation with the STAR Supplier – Perfect Product Award at a recent ceremony at Fidelity’s corporate facility in Reading, PA. The award recognizes Fidelity as one of Lockheed Martin’s top-performing suppliers. Only seven firms worldwide have earned this award in the past year.
The prestigious award is made only to Lockheed Martin suppliers who distinguish themselves by meeting some of the most stringent performance criteria in the aerospace industry. To join this elite group of STAR suppliers, Fidelity Technologies Corporation achieved 100% quality and 100% delivery for all products provided to Lockheed Martin for a minimum of one year. Additionally, Fidelity met the established criteria for Lockheed Martin’s supplier performance evaluation metric that evaluates quality, delivery, affordability, and management/administration.
Fidelity is subcontracted by Lockheed to produce and deliver upgrade kits for A-10 aircraft. Lockheed Martin STAR suppliers are provided visibility across Lockheed Martin Corporation. This results in increased opportunities for Fidelity to acquire future contracts with Lockheed, which had $24 billion sales in 2001.
