The Naval Air Warfare Center Training Systems Division, Jacksonville, Florida, awarded a five-year, $8 million contract to Fidelity Technologies Corporation to modify and enhance P-3 aircraft training system simulators.
The P-3 is a land-based, long-range anti-submarine warfare patrol aircraft. It has advanced submarine detection sensors, such as directional frequency and ranging sonobuoys and magnetic anomaly detection (MAD) equipment.
Fidelity and its subcontractor, Symvionics, Inc., will provide a wide range of engineering and technical support for the design, procurement, manufacturing, testing, fielding, modification, and upgrade of P-3 training systems.
