Fidelity Honored Again as a Greater Reading Top Business

Company Earns Distinction with Second Consecutive Year of Tremendous Growth

READING, PA – June 30, 2011 – Fidelity Technologies Corporation has been ranked second among the top 50 businesses in the Greater Reading area by the Greater Reading Chamber of Commerce & Industry and KPMG LLP.  The award honors the area’s most dynamic businesses and their ongoing contributions to the growth and success of the region.

The award is based on Fidelity’s growth in revenue, measured in both percentage and dollar amount. In 2010, the company was number one on the list; achieving a second straight high ranking shows a sustained expansion in Fidelity’s business.

“Earning a spot in the top two for two consecutive years is a significant accomplishment,” said Fidelity President David Gulati. “It’s a tribute to the hundreds of team members here at Fidelity who are fully committed to the success of the company.”

A privately-held company, Fidelity has three divisions: Simulation and Training, Field Services and Military and Aerospace Manufacturing.  Headquartered in Reading, PA, Fidelity is a leading global supplier of quality products and services to the U.S. Department of Defense and foreign militaries.

A family business, Fidelity was founded by Jack D. Gulati in 1987 and is now owned by his three sons, David, Charles and Michael.  The trio continues to operate the $100 million enterprise with a small business culture where its customers and employees come first.

“Our rapid growth has forced us to establish formalized processes, policies and procedures,” said Gulati. “For us to continue to prosper we believe it is important for us to adapt to this change while maintaining our customer-focused and employee-friendly culture.”

Fidelity’s years of hard work have built a strong reputation in the defense and aerospace industry, as noted by this award and many other accolades in recent years.  The “Top 50” award acknowledges Reading area businesses that have experienced growth, even during the past few years of severe economic challenges, and have created a positive influence on the future of Greater Reading.

Fidelity’s commitment to excellence at all levels of the company and providing customers with superior products and services have been instrumental to the success, Gulati said.
