Fidelity Technologies Ranks #32 in the Fast 50

Fidelity Technologies Corp. (Fidelity) of Reading has been ranked No. 32  among the 50 fastest-growing technology, life sciences, and cleantech companies in Greater Philadelphia, as part of the 2010 Greater Philadelphia Fast 50, presented by Deloitte.

The 14th-annual ranking judges companies based on five-year revenue growth. The Fast 50 honors companies instrumental in the growth and strength of the Greater Philadelphia economy, according to Tara L. Weiner, managing partner, Greater Philadelphia region, Deloitte LLP.

“Because of our continual ability to satisfy our customers and the commitment of our workforce to provide our customers with superior products and services, we have experienced significant and sustainable growth,” said David Gulati, President of Fidelity. “Given the state of the economy as a whole, the mere fact that we made the Fast 50 list is a huge accomplishment for our company and is something our employees should be extremely proud of.”

Fidelity has a strong presence in simulation and training, field support services, contract manufacturing and meteorological products and systems.

Of the winning companies, 62 percent are in the technology industry, 32 percent are in the life sciences industry and the remaining 6 percent are from the cleantech industry. First-time recipients, such as Fidelity, comprised 14 percent of the Fast 50 companies, while 86 percent represented repeat winners.

In 2010, Fidelity has been consistently honored for its growth.

Inc. Magazine named Fidelity Technologies Corporation (Fidelity) as one of the 5,000 fastest growing privately held companies in America.  Fidelity came in at No. 2,260; a significant jump from last year’s ranking of No. 4,617. The 2010 Inc. 5000 list ranks companies based on their increase in revenue between 2006 and 2009.

In addition, the company was named the fastest-growing company in the Greater Reading area by The Greater Reading Chamber of Commerce & Industry. Fidelity was also recognized by the Small Business Administration (SBA), which named the company its 2010 Berks County “Celebrate Success” initiative honoree.
