Fidelity Increases Its Support to the U.S. Navy

New COMS Contract Awarded

READING, PA April 24, 2012 – Fidelity Technologies Corporation won a 5 year contract, with an approximate value of $33.5 million, to support all Chief of Naval Air Training (CNATRA) trainers at Naval Air Stations located in Meridian, Mississippi, Kingsville and Corpus Christi, Texas, and Whiting Field and Pensacola, Florida.

The Contractor Operation and Maintenance Services (COMS) contract provides pilot training in the T-6, T-34, T-39, T-44, T-45 and TH-57 operational systems to Weapon System Officers (WSO). The COMS program is coordinated through the Naval Air Warfare Center Training Systems Division (NAWCTSD). Under a separate contract, Fidelity also provides the instructors who teach Navy pilots at the same Naval Air Stations.

The contract falls under Fidelity’s Field Services division, where trainer availability for warfighter preparedness is ensured by deploying teams of experienced engineering and technical specialists, as well as instructors for training, operation and maintenance of simulator equipment to military locations across the United States. According to Joseph Russell, General Manager of Fidelity Field Services, “this addition to our portfolio strengthens our diversity, making a significant mark on the future success of the Field Services division.”

David Gulati, President of Fidelity, commented, “We attribute our success to years of experience, an exceptional management team and a skilled technical staff – resulting in outstanding program performance and responsiveness to customer needs.”
